Another wreath. A gift prepared Saturday night ... started while the girls were napping and now continuing into the night when there was silence in the house.
I really like the end result and then is done with the heart and this is the important thing, if he is not perfect does not matter.
I delivered today at a target ... very special woman!
But let's see how I got this result.
Materials:
- A plastic tray of golden
- A half-rings made of polystyrene 30 cm in diameter
- a sheet of green felt fir
- A pair of scissors to cut the felt
- A piece of chalk to trace the felt
- hot glue gun
- Garland Spruce synthetic
- Wreath of holly
- garland with poinsettias mignon
- Stelline red plastic
- Apples miniature
- 4 Candle of different sizes
- 4 Candles
- 3 poinsettia flowers with their foliage
- A flat brush
- White acrylic
First I colored the candle with white acrylic paint and I put out to dry, one-pass color was simply because I wanted to see that the crack of wood.
drying it, I drew with chalk on the sheet of felt the contours of the half rings made of polystyrene and proceed to cut the cloth to cover the styrofoam. This operation is by far the most "difficult" boring and all, but is still fast enough.
Then glue the base to the tray with hot glue, fixing the holders (on which I had pasted a dry times of the garland of miniature poinsettias) ... and go to paste the garlands of pine, holly. Then the stars of Christmas with their foliage, and apples and stars.
