Dark Yellow Stinky Urine

I created this recipe for the play called by AUTUMN Paoletta aniceecannella.blogspot.com.

The idea was to try to recreate the flavors of a cake tasted years ago in a small restaurant but very characteristic and important to us ... one of the first restaurants where we dined alone, and where we came back many times even after married ... and no girls!

I could not replicate their famous sweet, tasted many times, but the end result we are not disappointed. But in the meantime I will continue to try to replicate that delicious sweet even though it will never be the same and not have the same flavor.

SCENT IN OCTOBER
Ingredients: 450 gr flour 00


50g wholemeal flour 250g butter, softened 3 eggs


3 egg yolks 250 g sugar 125 g chopped walnuts

50 grams raisins 100 grams of milk

250 grams of dried figs

200 ml of dry Marsala wine 1 / 2 packet of baking powder for cakes
a pinch salt

Preparation time: 30-40 'cooking at 160 °
time soaking raisins and figs: 1 night

The evening before the preparation of the cake to soak dried figs and raisins in the Marsala.
Drain the figs and raisins and dried. Cut the figs into small pieces. Working to cream butter with sugar. Add eggs and yolks one at a time and continue working the dough. Stir slowly
the previously sifted flour and baking powder.
Add milk a little at a time at room temperature.
Grease and flour a baking dish (in this case we used a rectangular pan size 35x25x5 cm). Pour the batter into the pan and level.

Place the mixture over the figs, raisins and walnuts (Gently press sull'impasto).
Bake at 160 degrees for 30-40 '(depending on the oven - always do the toothpick test).
The dough is very soft and fragrant.

Serve with dry Marsala.
